• The project “Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act 2017: Orientation and training program for Province and local Level MPs”, supported by IMC Nepal. The objective of the project is to sensitize, orient and train federal, provincial and local leaders on DRRM Act 2017 and mainstream it into developmental activities and future plans and policies. The duration of the project was from September 2019 to March 2020.
  • The project “Community-Based Landslide Risk Reduction; Developing Mitigation Mindset Towards Managing Disasters in Nepal”, supported by UNICEF Nepal. The objective of the project is to conduct knowledge and capacity strengthening programs on landslide and lightning in Achham, Baitadi & Bajura districts; landslide hazard mapping and installation of low-cost warning system; train local people, municipal government and concerned stakeholder of community on landslide, lightning risk and share responsibility on developing mitigation mindset. The duration of the project was from March 2019 to December 2019.
  • The Project “Mainstreaming Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Act 2074 in policies and programmes of Provincial and Local Government” supported by OXFAM. The overall objective of this project is to strengthen knowledge and capacity of provincial and local government representatives on the need and importance of mainstreaming issues, by-laws and guidelines in province and local level policies, plans and programs. The duration of the project was from June 2018 till March 2019.
  • After the successful endorsement of DRRM Act, HCG is determined to strengthen knowledge and capacity of provincial and local government representatives for mainstreaming by-laws and guidelines in province and local level policies.

The overall objective of this project was to strengthen the knowledge and capacity of CSO and local governmental representatives on the need and importance of mainstreaming DRR issues in local level policies, plans and programmes. The duration of the project was from April 2017 to March 2018.
  • The project for the Construction of a Shelter-Community Center in Dhading Districtwas supported by The Embassy of Japan in Nepal. HCG successfully constructed the community shelter in Kalleri, Dhading and handed over to the local government. The project duration was from March 2017- March 2018.
  • The Project “Strengthened capacity and systems for disaster preparedness and emergency responses in linewith the National Guidelines for disaster Munli, Ghodasain and Payal VDCs of Achham District by 2017″ was supported by UNICEF. 
  • School Construction Project of Shree Rastriya Higher Secondary Schoollocated at Shankharapur Municipality-15, Indrayani, Kathmandu, with the financial support of  AEON 1% Club Foundation, Japan. The project duration was from July 2016 to March 2017.
  • The Project “Strengthening Disaster Risk Governance” supported by OXFAM was implemented through HCG. The overall objective of this project was to improve disaster governance in Nepal through the enactment of National Disaster Risk Management Act. The duration of the project was from April 2016 to March 2017.

  • Prepare a national database of landslide induced by rainfall and earthquake.
